You just bought a wine aerator and now you are thinking about buying a wine aerator cleaning brush. Do you really one? How does a aerator brush work? It removes those hard-to-reach deposits that can build up in a wine aerator. Here is the deal (my own opinion). I do not think you need one of these brushes if you wash the wine aerator immediately after use. All it takes is some warm running water to clean it. There is no need for a brush to clean a wine aerator. Save yourself the money and rather buy another bottle of fine wine.
So, how do you clean a wine aerator effectively? Pour the wine through the aerator. Here is the key, do not wait for too long afterwards – it takes less than a minute to walk over to the kitchen sink and to rinse the wine aerator. Since wine is not a drink that you just gulp down in seconds you have plenty of time to enjoy the wine after rinsing the wine aerator.
If you still think you need a wine aerator cleaning brush, you can use a generic kitchen brush and Q-tips if really necessary. Overall I cannot recommend this product. In my opinion it was created to make money without providing any real value in return. You do not need it and now that I saved you money, please enjoy a good glass of wine.
