If you have read articles on this website you know that I am a big fan of the Vinturi Wine Aerator. A few weeks ago I was made aware of a new, different kind of wine aerator and I was fortunate enough to actually be able test it out. So, I went and bought 2 bottles of red wine – both below $15.00 in price. I have to say that my expectations were not very high before I started testing this new wine aerator.
The wine aerator I am writing about it the Chevalier Legacy Wine Aerator from the Chevalier Collection of wine glasses. This wine aerator is actually an aerating wine glass itself. Unlike the Vinturi each person who wants to enjoy a glass of wine would need her own Chevalier Wine Glass. Overall I have to say the results are outstanding. I tested the first bottle of wine at a dinner occasion with my wife and we both tasted the wine in a regular wine glass. Then we used the Chevalier Legacy aerating wine glass and I have to say the improvement was dramatically. The wine tasted significantly better. We were both amazed how well this aerating wine glass actually worked.
